Modular fixturing systems in high-tensile aluminum
Horst Witte Gerätebau Barskamp KG celebrated their 40th anniversary on 1st July. What started as a
subcontracting company for highly accurate aerospace parts, is nowadays an internationally
reknowned manufacturer and supplier of fixturing systems.
Alufix modular fixturing system as well as various vacuum clamping technologies developed by Witte are marketed via subsidiaries and partners worldwide. Continuous development of new products and product enhancements ensures Witte’s market leadership within the range of fixturing for measuring and machining.
Witte now employs more than 200 staff. Since the company founding in 1969 more than 100 apprentices have completed their training at Witte, and most of them stayed with the company.
„Recruiting of qualified technical personnel starts at home. Manufacturing of accurate complicated parts, mostly made in high-tensile aluminium, requires considerable expertise. Our training management greatly contributes to securing and maintaining our high quality standards,” stated company founder Horst Witte.
