- Advantages of groove and grid profiles combined in a new fixturing system -
Until recently profiles for modular fixturing have only been available separately either with a groove or
with a grid, Witte Bleckede has now combined the specific advantages of both kinds of profile in a new
product: Aluquick.
Aluquick is an extruded profile with slots along each side, to which a grid has been added. This
enables positioning of components as required either off-set in the slot or repeatably in the grid when
building fixtures. Contrary to conventional extruded profiles with slots because of its grid Aluquick
guarantees high repeatability of measuring fixtures as well as later reuse of single elements to build
fixtures for other parts.
Also during assembly Aluquick shows decided advantages with its own connection elements
compared to conventional profiles. Its connection technology not only simplifies assembly but provides
the possibility to modify fixtures, without having to disassemble the basic fixture frame.
For large fixtures such as passenger car doors or side panels several profiles can be joined together
creating larger cross sections. This gives additional rigidity where large, heavy parts are involved.
Aluquick profiles are available in pre-machined lengths but can be supplied custom built up to a length
of six meters.
This system is pre-destined for modern fixture building, where the demand for economical, rigid and
light fixtures in on the increase.
In order to correspond to the growing significance of optical measuring technology Aluquick is
available in black as a standard.
Its compatibility to existing Witte systems such as Alufix Classic, Alufix ECO and XL offers almost
unlimited expansion possibilities.
