When for instance extremities, position and diameters of pipes, often bent into irregular shapes, have to be checked or measured on a coordinate measuring machine normally a dedicated fixture or gauge is required for each individual part.

The latest new component additions to the reusable Aluquick system enable mounting of pipes of different length, shape and diameter on fixtures built exclusively from standard components. This is made possible via items like rotary and angle elements, which adapt to workpiece contact points in all angles and degrees.

Additional scales on these adjustable elements enable repeatable settings so that measuring fixtures or gauges are adaptable to all kinds of pipe shapes. Exchangeable U-shaped contour blocks check diameters and location of pipes in defined positions. The fixtures are adjusted using simple measuring accessories and the part is ready for measuring or checking.
