It is assembled in Alufix Classic standard components which are made out of strong, high tensile aluminium.

Because the application is optical inspection, these Alufix components (normally silver) are anodized black to avoid any reflection during measuring process. If some design modification of the side panel occurs, the fixture can be changed very quickly in any of the areas in direct contact to workpiece according to new requirements.

Alufix is a modular, highly accurate fixturing system used for measuring fixtures, checking gauges, assembly fixtures, cubings, basic frames. It is also used to set up prototypes. Part dimensions from very small to very big are catered for with six system sizes, which can be combined with each other. After application fixtures can be disassembled so that all single standard Alufix components can be used for new fixtures.
